Terms of service

The terms and conditions apply to the use of all Manchester Warehouse websites. By placing an order with us, you are agreeing to accept these terms and conditions.

Please note, these terms and conditions can potentially change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly before ordering any product(s) in case there are any changes. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions set out below, you should not use or access this website.

Please contact our Online Customer Service team on 1300 722 941 before placing an order, if you have any queries relating to our terms and conditions.

The following terms and conditions will apply between you and Manchester Warehouse, when you purchase any item(s) from manchesterwarehouse.com.au. The terms do not affect your statutory rights.

  • Your contract for purchases made through manchesterwarehouse.com.au is with Manchester Warehouse and you undertake that any good(s) ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only and are not for resale.
  • You must be eighteen years old or above to use this site. If you are under eighteen, you may only use the site in conjunction with, and under the supervision of, a parent or guardian. If you do not qualify, please do not use the site.
  • You warrant that all details you provide to manchesterwarehouse.com.au for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds in your account to cover payment of the product(s) ordered.
  • You agree that e-mail can be used as a means of communication.
  • If there are any changes to the details supplied by you it is your responsibility to inform Manchester Warehouse as soon as possible.
  • It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card in placing an order on manchesterwarehouse.com.au. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
  • Manchester Warehouse reserves the right to terminate the agreement we have with you and to suspend or terminate your access to the site immediately and without notice to you if:
    • you fail to make payment to us as and when it falls due
    • you breach any of our terms and conditions
    • when requested by us to do so, you fail to provide within a reasonable time frame, sufficient information to enable us to determine the accuracy and validity of any information supplied by you, or your identity
    • we suspect you have engaged, are about to engage, or are involved in fraudulent or illegal activity on manchesterwarehouse.com.au

 

Ordering

When placing an order, you warrant that any and all information given is accurate and complete.

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.
  • All prices listed on manchesterwarehouse.com.au are correct at the time of entering the information, however, we reserve the right to change the price of any product at any time. All prices include GST.
  • After placing an order on manchesterwarehouse.com.au you will receive a confirmation email sent to the email address given in your order form that will detail product(s) ordered, payment method, cost (including GST and postage/delivery) and usual delivery times.
  • You must check all the details on this confirmation email are correct and contact us as soon as possible if any details are incorrect.
  • No contract for the sale of any product(s) will exist between you and manchesterwarehouse.com.au until we accept your order by dispatching the product(s) to you. If your order has not been accepted, you will receive an explanatory email from us detailing the reasons why.
  • It is a policy of Manchester Warehouse NOT to honour incorrectly priced items that appear either on our website or instore. Please be aware that is a term & condition of placing an order with us.

 

Payment

manchesterwarehouse.com.au accepts the following payment types:

  • Visa and Mastercard
  • AMEX
  • Diners
  • PayPal & PayPal Express
  • Afterpay
  • All prices are in Australian dollars, and the Manchester Warehouse website will currently only accept payment in Australian dollars.
  • The Merchant name “Manchester W/House” will appear on your credit card statement.
  • All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

 

Promotions

  • All promotions communicated either online, instore or via any marketing campaigns will clearly state if the promotion applies INSTORE or ONLINE or BOTH. Via our email marketing campaigns, online promotions do not necessarily apply to our retail store and vice versa. If you are unsure, please contact our staff for confirmation.
  • Only one discount code can be used when checking out online at any one time. Unless otherwise stated, all available discount codes are not valid in conjunction with one another.
  • Spend and save offers: our various spend and save promotions cannot be stacked. I.e if a spend and save offer of "spend $100, save 10% off" is available, spending $200 does not entitle you to 20% off unless otherwise stated.
  • Automatic discounts will automatically appear on the online checkout page during relevant promotions, for the specified products. Multiple automatic discounts may work in conjunction with one another.
  • Discounts and promotions do not include clearance items unless clearly stated.
  • Gift cards are excluded from all discounts and promotions.
  • Manchester Warehouse reserves the right to decline and refund an order in the event that there has been an error with any promotional pricing or conditions.
  • When returning an item or items that have been purchased during a promotional offer, the refund amount will take into account the promotion conditions. If the minimum purchase conditions are no longer met due to the return, the discount value will be deducted from the refund amount owing.

 

Delivery

  • The delivery period stated within which you will receive your order is approximate. Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order.
  • A standard flat rate shipping fee of $9.95 applies for all orders Australia wide.
  • Product delivery is generally made within 10 working days from when the order is placed, with this time frame allowing for instances where Manchester Warehouse is awaiting supplier deliveries, or stock is in short supply.
  • Manchester Warehouse is unable to specify an exact delivery time.
  • Manchester Warehouse deliver only within Australia, using Australia Post Receipted Delivery, excluding bulky furniture items which will be sent direct from suppliers. When your parcel is collected from the Manchester Warehouse by Australia Post, Australia Post will email you tracking advice so that you are able to follow the delivery of your parcel from our warehouse to your front door. You will need to sign for your goods on delivery, unless you specify otherwise during the checkout process. If you are not home at the time of delivery your goods will be made available at your nearest post office.
  • Where a Customer gives written authority for the product(s) to be delivered without a signature, any and all included insurance cover will be voided.

 

Click & Collect

  • Pick-up from our Kogarah, NSW store is free. You will be notified via email or phone when your order is ready for collection. Please bring your ID or a copy of your tax invoice with you and a customer service representative will be able to assist with the collection of your items in-store.
  • Please note: Click & Collect is not available for bulky furniture items.

 

Online Refund & Exchange Policy

  • We know you’ll love your new purchase, however if for any reason you’re not completely happy you can return your product to us. We’ll then give you the option of an exchange, a refund or provide you with a online store credit.
  • Manchester Warehouse will be happy to honour our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law if any product is damaged, faulty or incorrectly shipped through any circumstance that is in our error.
  • Please note: There is no exchange or refund on quilts, mattress toppers, underlays, mattress protectors and pillows due to health and hygiene reasons, unless of course the product is faulty.
  • Returning Bulky Furniture: Please choose carefully when purchasing any products that are defined as bulky furniture. We will honour a change of mind in line with our terms and conditions for online returns, however, freight costs will be incurred at customer's expense (between $75 - $150 per item) and the goods must remain in their original condition to obtain a refund. Delivery charges will not be refunded. To return your purchase please call 1300 722 941, dial 1 to be issued with an authorisation number.


Refunds:

  • To refund a purchase made online, simply return your goods within 14 days of receiving your online order.
  • Before returning your purchase, please give our Online Customer Service Team a call on 1300 722 941 and dial 1 or email onlineenquiries@manchesterwarehouse.com.au. You will be issued an authorisation number, and an eParcel label via email.
  • Unfortunately, any change of mind returns will attract a return postage fee of $9.95 (this excludes bulky furniture, please refer above for returning bulky furniture), which will be deducted from your refund amount at the time of processing. This flat rate return fee of $9.95 is offered to our customers as a cost-effective, hassle-free way of returning your goods to us. If the item is a gift, your very generous friend or relative will need to complete the return form.
  • Goods are to be returned to us in their original condition. We prefer that you don't try and re-pack the product/s, but we do request that you include all original packaging, including any cardboard inserts.
  • Please fill in the return form below, including the authorisation number you have received, and include it in your parcel. Adhere the eParcel return label and place your return into a red Australia Post box (if size permits) or lodge it at your local post office (excluding bulky furniture).


Exchange:

  • For exchange or online store credit, return your goods within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • Before returning your purchase, please give our Online Customer Service Team a call on 1300 722 941 and dial 1 or email onlineenquiries@manchesterwarehouse.com.au. Please advise the item/s you are returning and also the replacement/s, so that they can be put aside for you. You will also be issued an authorisation number, and an eParcel label via email.
  • Unfortunately, any change of mind exchanges will attract a return postage fee of $9.95 (excluding bulky furniture). This fee will be deducted from any monies to be returned, or will be charged if there is a shortfall, at the time of processing. This flat rate return fee of $9.95 is offered to our customers as a cost-effective, hassle-free way of returning your goods to us. A very rare quality slip up?

  • At Manchester Warehouse, we’re obsessed with quality and pride ourselves on making your Manchester Warehouse product experience the best possible.
  • If you find a fault with a product you have purchased with us online, please give our Online Customer Service Team a call on 1300 722 941 and dial 1 or email onlineenquiries@manchesterwarehouse.com.au. Please advise the item you are returning, so that a replacement can be put aside for you. You may instead wish to have your item credited or a full refund issued. You will also be issued an authorisation number, and an eParcel label (free return postage, excluding bulky furniture items) via email.

Kogarah NSW Store Refund & Exchange Policy

MW Wholesale

Manchester Warehouse Wholesale or MW Wholesale has been set up to cater for a wide variety of industry segments and customers - property stylist, interior designers, Airbnb hosts, property managers/holiday rentals, Stayz owners and interior designers just to name a few. Manchester Warehouse reserves the right to accept or decline an individual, business, company or any other legal entity’s application enquiry to register as a Wholesale customer based on the criteria and guidelines for trade customers in our business.

 

Receiving Marketing from Manchester Warehouse

  • When you join or subscribe to an Manchester Warehouse email and/or SMS marketing list, you agree to receive marketing communications from Manchester Warehouse. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in every marketing email, or replying 'STOP' to any marketing SMS. Please note that communications relating to your Manchester Warehouse account or an order you have placed with us do not classify as marketing communications.

 

Mobile Terms of Service

The Manchester Warehouse mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Manchester Warehouse (“Manchester Warehouse”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to Manchester Warehouse’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Manchester Warehouse through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Manchester Warehouse. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to ManchesterW or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Manchester Warehouse mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.

Privacy

  • Manchester Warehouse will not pass on your personal or credit card details to any third party.
  • We will never ask for personal details via email. If you receive an unsolicited email asking you for your manchesterwarehouse.com.au log in details, please contact our Customer Service team immediately.

 

Indemnity

You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors and employees, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this website, or the use by any other person accessing the website using your shopping account and/or your Personal Information.

 

Liability

We do not accept liability (except as set out below) for any errors and omissions and reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services.

  • If an error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. In the event that you order an item and the price published on manchesterwarehouse.com.au is incorrect for any reason, we will contact you to let you know the correct price and ask you whether you still wish us to fulfil your order at this price. We are under no obligation to accept an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price. We shall give you the option of confirming the order at the correct price or if you so choose, to cancel the order altogether.
  • In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, please notify us of the problem in writing at the address stated in the confirmation e-mail and we will be happy to honour our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • We have taken every measure to provide accurate product images for each product for sale on the site. However, due to a number of mitigating factors such as internet browsers, monitor colour contrasts etc, we cannot be held responsible or liable for any colour discrepancies between the image and the actual product.
  • The products sold on manchesterwarehouse.com.au are provided for private domestic and consumer use only. Accordingly, we do not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss of damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of the site or for any products or services purchased from manchesterwarehouse.com.au except to the extent of any liability at law.
  • We have taken every measure to prevent internet fraud and ensure any data collected from you is stored as securely and safely as possible. However, we cannot be held liable in the extremely unlikely event of a breach in our secure computer servers.
  • We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and any other similar events.
  • We make no warranty that the website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, and reliability of the Website.  We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the Website except to the extent of any liability at law.

Manchester Warehouse cannot be held responsible for material displayed on third-party websites or any other written material. Law

The conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia and customers irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
